I upgraded windows 8.1 to windows 10 today and found the new Start menu to be somewhat lacking so I installed Classic Shell (see the guide I did for windows 8.1)
I love Classic Shell, it is just so easy to use and really the classics are just better 🙂
What are you waiting for enable the classic Start button today.
So I have been waiting all day for my windows 10 upgrade tool to tell me it is available; I thought for sure I would be able to upgrade windows 8.1 to to windows 10 today but by 3:30 PM PST no notice but luckily there is a work around which will allow you to upgrade your windows 7, 8, 8.1 to the brand spanking now Windows 10.0.
Just head on over to the following Microsoft page and download the media creation tool provided for you x86 or x64 based system and you can either create a USB/ISO version for a clean install OR you can choose to upgrade you current system and keep all your programs and settings; me I opted for clean install because it has been months since my last install and I need to do some housekeeping on my system.
